Planspitze Eastern Northwall (Gstatterboden)
General Information
The route describes the access to the climbing route! An alpine climbing route, which can be looked up in detail in the climbing guide "Xeis Auslese" by Andreas Hollinger and Jürgen Reinmüller!
On the Gesäusebundesstraße (B146) near Gstatterboden, coming from Admont, just before the bridge over the Enns, you will find the "Forstgarten" campsite. At the green sign "Campingplatz Forstgarten" (GPS 1) a forest road starts from the main road. Follow the forest road in eastern direction until you reach a forest road junction (GPS 2). Continue along the right-hand road. Follow the forest road in serpentines and crossing the large stream bed until almost at its end. At about 760m altitude the forest road crosses the large, prominent creek bed (GPS 3). Follow the heavily eroded and constantly changing creek bed to the foot of the wall at about 1300m.
