Access from Haindlkar parking (Part 1)
General Information
The route describes the access to the climbing route! An alpine climbing route, which can be looked up in detail in the climbing guide "Xeis Auslese" by Andreas Hollinger and Jürgen Reinmüller!
If you drive the Gesaeuse federal road from Admont in the direction of Gstatterboden, you will find a parking lot on the right about 3 km after the inn "Zur Bachbrücke". This is the starting point for the Haindlkarhütte (GPS 1). To this and further east follow the marked Peternpfad. Over brook beds and scree slopes you reach a mountain pine zone interspersed with larches and further on to a scree slope descending from the right (from the high gate north wall). To the right is the access to the Hochtor Nordwand (accesses "Pfannl", "Reibeisen", "Gegen der Zeit"). The Peternpfad now crosses directly below the porch of the Dachl northwest wall to the left into a long, blocky rubble chute (here further to the entrance "Anima Mundi"). Over a ridge to the left into another rubble chute and up this with difficulty (entrance "60plus"). Turn left to the lower waterhole at the foot of the Rosskuppenkante. The rocky upswing is overcome on the left in easy climbing until you can cross the gorge again to the upper waterhole (entrance "Rosskuppenkante").
and "Schindluder") Shortly up the gorge (to the entrances of "Supermix" and "Rosskuppe Nordwand") and onto a prominent debris-covered band (to the entrance of "Rosskuppe Nordverschneidung"). The Peternpfad leads here to the left on the band
further and later over the suspended "Ennstaler Schritt" into the Peternscharte. Walking time see topo!
The Peternpfad is usually used as a descent after climbing the north walls.
