Part I: Since 2003, the springs in the Gesäuse National Park have been systematically researched. The present update contains the results of profound scientific work of the last five years and, as an unprecedented long-term research project, can once again point to numerous discoveries and the identification of 66,000 organisms by now.
Part II: The Gofer area on the north walls of the Admont Reichenstein Group was a "white spot" in biological research for a long time. On the 11th GEO Day of Biodiversity 2016, however, the data stock of the Gesäuse National Park GmbH was enriched by a substantial amount.
