Workshop Description:
Poetry-based provision is an artistic practice that enriches your everyday life through a poetic perception of the world. We stroll, jot down notes, photograph, and sketch. Discover the extraordinary and the surprising in the seemingly insignificant. Seek beauty in what is nearby. Bring more shine into our everyday lives.
Wandering while walking, looking, thinking, and noting gives space to chance and poetry - whatever words, things, colors, images, sounds, and scents come to you.
Playfully and experimentally, we move between text and image. We try out different short text genres, montages, collages, and visual poetry.
You can expand your texts with images, create postcards, and find entirely new forms for your words and sentences, sending them out into the world. There are no limits to your imagination.
Workshop Leadership
Brigitta Höpler, born in 1966, lives and works in Vienna. She is an art historian, author, writing educator, and lecturer at the BÖS professional association of Austrian writing educators.
Her main focus areas are the writing space city, visual poetry, and poetry-based provision.
Numerous projects, texts, and publications related to art, city, and writing.
