This Sunday afternoon, Lienhof in Seiersberg-Pirka invites you to a special tasting: In the farm shop, a selection of pure, hand-picked mountain herb teas from their own harvest on the slope of the small Florianiberg near Graz can be sampled. The herbs grow in the open field, on the stony southwest slope between mixed forest and traditional orchards. A location that produces intense aromas due to many hours of sunshine and noticeable altitude.

The farmers from Lienhof share stories about each variety: When was the plant harvested? Why grown here? When smelling and tasting, one can sense the character of the mountain climate and the nature surrounding the Graz Region, Styria. The tastings take place in November and December on Sundays from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the farm shop – prior registration is not necessary. Admission is free.

The farm shop is located close to the city limits of Graz. Visitors can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, sniff, taste, and be seduced by the aroma of over 30 varieties of mountain herbs.

Regional ingredients, no additives, single-origin teas – this is the philosophy: Each herb variety comes from the current season and has been selectively hand-harvested, carefully dried, and then packaged. So if you feel like having a fine cup of mountain herb tea along with a break in nature, away from the hustle and bustle, close to Graz – this is the place to be.
Tip: After the tasting, take a short walk around Florianiberg – the view over Graz and the vineyards and high forest slopes is a little gift from nature.
