Stubenberg Lake

The shores are completely unspoilt, so that the bathers have individual places at their disposal. Whether on the lively eastern beach with diving rocks; on the family beach "Strandbad" with sandy beach and sunken pirate ship or on the southern shore, where quiet spots can be found - Lake Stubenberg is an ideal area for sports and leisure.

The 3 km long circular route attracts runners, walkers and skaters. An electric ship can accommodate up to 60 excursion passengers, who can view the banks from the water in a one-hour tour. Two amusement parks offer fun and games for young and old.Climbing park, Segway rental and pedal boats can also be used outside the bathing season. A number of restaurants and kiosks are located on the lake, catering for all culinary needs, from fine dinners to quick snacks. A 4-star Seehotel, several 3-star establishments and the JUFA are available for overnight guests.

Boat trip on Lake Stubenberg During an approx. one-hour boat trip you will learn informative facts about the region around Lake Stubenberg. In the summer months (July and August) the boat trip is free of charge for day guests with a valid lake admission ticket from 4 pm! Excursions for groups of 20 people or more (from mid-May to early October) can be booked at the ApfelLand - Stubenbergsee tourist office by calling +43 (0) 3176 / 8882 or apfelland@oststeiermark.com with advance notice.

For reasons of hygiene, dogs are not permitted anywhere in the lake area! (Except for assistance dogs with appropriate identification).
