Originally used as a garden shed, it now combines historic architecture with bright, cozy furnishings and subtle wooden accents. The open design creates a friendly ambiance, where the view of greenery and the gentle hustle and bustle of the park create a special atmosphere.

Culinary-wise, Salaettl focuses on a mix of Scandinavian inspiration and Styrian regionality. The offerings include hearty dishes as well as homemade desserts. The ingredients come from local producers, with meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, and juices sourced from Kaiser-Josef-Platz, and the bread baked in a traditional bakery. Everything else is freshly prepared in-house, highlighting the commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
