Almgasthof refuge Wieseralm

The Wieseralm Schutzhütte near Frohnleiten is located at around 1,025 meters above sea level and is a popular destination for hikers, cyclists, and day-trippers. You can reach the alpine hut via forest and gravel paths, which is idyllically situated between meadows and woods – fresh mountain air and panoramic views included.

In this family-run establishment, products from their own farm are primarily served. Especially popular is the hearty plate of cured meat, cheese, and fresh farmhouse bread. If ordered in advance, warm meals are also available, and those lucky enough may enjoy musical accompaniment while visiting – the Wieseralm is known for being particularly friendly to musicians.

From the balcony of the hut, there is a beautiful view of the Graz mountains. It’s a place where one loves to linger after a hike or bike tour and enjoy the view of the Graz Region.
