From the very first night! This offer is valid Monday to Friday at the Teichalm lifts and the Almenland cross-country ski trails for the entire duration of your stay.

Public holidays, Christmas & semester breaks (3 weeks) are excluded.

“I have to go to the toilet!” - a call that every ski instructor, parent or grandparent knows. For the little ones, it's an emergency, but the layers of skis, ski poles and winter clothing are a real challenge - every second counts!

At the St. Jakob family ski mountain, everything remains relaxed: Johannes Berger, an experienced father and grandfather, has invented the solution - the world's first drive-through toilet!

If you want to test your climbing skills and are looking for a special challenge, you should visit our ice waterfall Alice in the nature park community of Breitenau am Hochlantsch.

The 23 meter high waterfall is created in winter in the “Tiefenbachgraben”. A wooden scaffolding has been erected under the waterfall to support the ice and withstand periods of warm weather.

The ice waterfall has a difficulty level of WI 4. There is also an 18-metre-high ice column for learning the basic techniques.

On the St. Jakob im Walde family ski mountain, it's easy to go uphill: hook your toboggan onto the drag lift and glide effortlessly uphill. You can go downhill all by yourself! Every Saturday from 16:30 to 18:30, the slopes are exclusively for tobogganers - floodlit.

The idea came from Reinhard Ferner, inventor of the patented uphill toboggan, which Stephan Berger was the first to introduce in Austria.

Experience the sunrise on Sunday, December 22, at around 07:30 am at the Teufelstein.

• Start: Fischbach village square with shuttle bus (05:30) or Zellerkreuz (approx. 06:00).
• Parking: Limited spaces at Zellerkreuz - shuttle bus recommended (registration for 5 or more people: +43 3170 211).
• Highlights: Sunrise at the Teufelstein (approx. 07:30 am) and mountain breakfast at the Teufelsteinhütte, organized by the Fischbach innkeepers.

In winter, “Adventure Management” takes you uphill on a guided snowshoe tour and downhill on the “ruckXbob”, a toboggan that you strap onto your back like a rucksack.

These tours are offered on the Teichalm, starting at the Almgasthof Hotel Teichwirt. And one thing is for sure, fun is guaranteed here!

Start the new year with a hike! From 10:00 a.m. on 31.12. from Gasthaus Gallbrunner or Gasthof Fischbacherhof along the Mariazell pilgrimage route (10 km, approx. 2.5 hours) with several refreshment stops, warming drinks and sparkling wine to toast.

You can join at any time, no registration required. Free hike without a guide!

There is a small gift for the Winter Needle, which can be collected from the Almenland Nature Park or Joglland-Waldheimat offices.
