This short running route circles the sports and leisure area near the wave pool. Ideal for a short exercise session. Or well suited for training with several rounds. The section along the stream to the playground near the tennis court is particularly suitable for wheelchair users - return the same way.

Running, walking and Nordic walking are good for the body, mind and soul and are twice as much fun as a couple or in a group. For running enthusiasts, Nordic walkers or just for a walk: the Gleisdorf region offers numerous opportunities. There are four signposted running routes with distance information every 500 m available especially for training-oriented runners.

We start at the Gleisdorf wave pool towards the city center and turn right onto the footpath after the AEE wood-glass building and return to the back of the pool area on the right. This path along the so-called Gleisbach ends at the level of the volleyball courts and leads back to the starting point on the right between the swimming pool area and the tennis facilities. These 1.3 kilometers can also be ideally used as a training session with several laps.

The Gleisdorf wave pool, with its 5 pools and the wave pool that gives it its name, is the ideal place for rest and relaxation after jogging.

There are parking spaces directly at the Gleisdorf wave pool.
