From Vienna via the A2 Südautobahn highway and the S6 Semmering expressway to the Kindberg exit. Here through the Stanzertal valley on the Schanzsattel-Landesstraße L114 to Fischbach.
From Graz via the Weizer-Bundesstraße B72 to Birkfeld and from here via the Schanzsattel-Landesstraße L114 to Fischbach.
From Linz/Salzburg/Munich via the Pyhrnautobahn A9 and the Semmering-Schnellstraße S6 to the Kindberg exit. Continue as above.

- We start our hike at the village square in Fischbach and take a leisurely stroll along Dorfstraße, past the church, to the elementary school. Between the elementary school and the cemetery, we turn right towards Roseggersiedlung and follow hiking trail no. 2 towards Faschingbauer Kreuz
- The path initially leads us through the settlement, where we have a beautiful view of the village of Fischbach, then we walk leisurely along a forest path which we leave before it leads steeply uphill to follow trail no. 4 to the left
- Finally we come to a crossroads again, path no. 5 on the right leads us to Herthersruhe: we discover a bench on a rock where we take a short break
- The path then leads us down a gravel road to the L451 asphalt road, which we leave to the left after a few meters and then come to the hamlet of Oberdissau with a few houses
- After taking a closer look at one of the oldest chapels in Fischbach, the path now leads us uphill along the asphalt road
- For a shortcut, we would have to take path no. 6, which leads a little steeper through the forest
- At the end of the asphalt road, we come to a bridge, which we cross and then immediately continue left along the gravel road (hiking trail no. 6a)
- The road climbs gently uphill until the gravel path ends in the middle of the Baumgartner family farmstead

- We go through the farm and walk along the meadow path until we cross a small stream and then reach a somewhat narrower forest path and then a forest path againThis path leads us back to Fischbach, arriving behind the petrol station
