- We start at the pavilion in the parking lot in front of the Waisenegg kindergarten
- Passing the elementary school and the Stuhlhofer farm, the Bärnhof circular hiking trail leads us out of the village, downhill on the asphalt road until we turn left onto a gravel road
- On a slight incline, we walk along the gravel road in the forest past the Kern-Hütterl and we come to a turning area for timber trucks
- From now on the gravel road begins to climb
- Before we leave it, we follow a section of flat forest path to later rejoin the gravel road
- We walk along the gravel road until we branch off into a forest path again and walk along the meadow path towards Bärnhof
- The wayside shrine at the first farm (Bärnhof) on the asphalt road invites you to linger and pause for a moment
- You can also enjoy a wonderful view of Waisenegg and Strallegg from here
- The road continues downhill past the Ebner farm until we branch off and continue through the forest
- We leave the forest one last time and follow the asphalt road steeply uphill on the right to our starting point
The Kern-Hütterl is a resting place in the forest.
