At the foot of the Hohenkogl lies the small hobby farm, which is run with a lot of love and dedication, serving as a meeting place for people and animals.

Heidi and Martin Ponsold manage the generational farm at Hohenkogl and spend their daily life with a variety of animals:
19 alpacas, 3 ponies, 2 female donkeys, 2 dwarf rabbits, 3 Walliser black-nosed sheep, 4 giant snails, 7 cats, 1 herd protection dog, and some chickens.

Since 2019, guided alpaca hikes have been offered. There is also the opportunity for people with disabilities to experience the fascination of alpacas. It is possible to drive directly to the alpacas by car, and the quiet location and paved roads also allow for wheelchair users to accompany the alpacas on a small walk.

In the farm shop, high-quality products made from the "fleece of the gods" from the alpacas can be purchased.
