Breitenau am Hochlantsch
The rustic snack station on Hochlantsch and right next to the Schüsserlbrunn pilgrimage church welcomes guests with wonderful cuisine and a breathtaking view.
The inn "Steirischer Jockl" is right next to the pilgrimage church Schüsserlbrunn. Only 99 steps separate the inn with the church. Trade fairs are also celebrated here in the summer months. The excellent cuisine offers something for everyone who is hungry: typical Austrian dishes are cooked here, from Wienerschnitzel, deep fry soup and roast pork to Beuschel. Add a drink or two and everyone is happy.
The hut can only be reached on foot, you can only pay with cash. From there you can continue to descend to the Hochlantsch summit or to Breitenau. The Teichalm with the Teichalmsee is about 6 kilometers away. You could also hike through the Bärenschützklamm to the "Steirischer Jokl" inn.
