You can reach the swimming lake via circular hiking trail no. 8 (Albert-See-Runde) or via the Feistritz Bridge. There is also a volleyball court, a boccia court and a children's playground in the recreational lake area. A pedal boat invites you to leisurely rides on the lake.
The swimming lake in Ratten is also particularly popular as a hiking destination - a tour around the lake is recommended at any time of the year.
