Peter Rosegger Exhibition
St. Kathrein am Hauenstein
Peter Rosegger was an Austrian writer and poet.
The exhibition shows the life of Peter Rosegger in St. Kathrein. In five stage sets, various aspects of his relationships with his teacher Patterer, the tailor master "Naz", and the people from the Haselgraber department store are depicted.
Here is also his favorite church, of which he said: “I have seen the Cologne and Milan cathedrals and St. Peter's in Rome; the sweet heavenly atmosphere like in the white, bright little church of Kathrein I have not found anywhere else."
Group tours by prior arrangement are also possible outside of opening hours.
