Starting from Pöllau, drive in the direction of Pöllauberg and from there on to Masenberg.
For hikers there are also hiking trails in the direction of Masenberg or the educational forest trail directly on Masenberg. You will find the summit cross just above the refuge. There you can enjoy a magnificent view as far as Vorau.
There are two restaurants on the Masenberg for those who are hungry or thirsty:

"SAM" stands for "Sammeltaxi Oststeiermark" (=community taxi Easten Styria) and closes the mobility gap where buses and trains do not operate. The SAM stop near the "Glückskapelle" is HF 5843 further stops can be found here.
