“Waiting for the Christ Child” in Herberstein

On December 24th, we open the Herberstein Animal World from 10 AM to 1 PM for special hours: With a magical Christmas program, we shorten the wait for the Christ Child!
In the animal world, there are commented feedings and the Christmas tree will be decorated in the petting zoo. Additionally, you can use our indoor playground "Herbie’s Spielewelt" for free on this day.
We look forward to your visit!

Admission: voluntary donation!
Open from 10 AM to 1 PM
The following program will be offered:
- Decorating the Christmas tree for the animals in the petting zoo at 11 AM
- Commented feedings at 10:30 AM for the red panda, at 11:30 AM for the cheetah, and at 12:30 PM for the geladas

- Overview tours in the House of Biodiversity: Discover the diversity of life at our interactive stations
- Christkindlweg powered by Gartenschloss Herberstein (start at the pavilion in the Historic Rose Garden)
- Access to Herbie’s Indoor Spielewelt for free
- Create your animal-themed Christmas button to take home in the House of Biodiversity
