Experience Advent with all your senses in December at Freilichtmuseum Vorau. Every year, the atmospheric Advent market attracts visitors from near and far to the unique backdrop of the open-air museum. A contemplative Christmas journey awaits you with traditional crafts, incense made from local herbs, a romantic light walk, as well as festive Christmas sounds and regional products.

Our little guests can look forward to a great supporting program this year. In the parlor, there will be a Children’s Advent Workshop, and in addition to the farm animals, alpaca tours and soapstone animal carving will be offered.

Homemade Punch and mulled wine, regional delicacies, as well as coffee and Christmas treats complete the contemplative Advent day. Enjoy the wonderful ambiance and embark on a small Christmas journey with all your senses.
