Hike to the winter solstice on Teufelstein

Every year, on the Sunday before Christmas Eve, a hike to the legendary Devil's Stone in Fischbach takes place. The free hike should be planned so that one can observe the sunrise at the summit around 07:30 AM.
The free hike starts at the Zellerkreuz in Fischbach at 6 a.m. From there we start to watch the sunrise at around 07:30 a.m. at the Teufelstein. Let yourself be enchanted by this unique spectacle of nature!
- Start: Fischbach village square at 5:30 a.m. with the shuttle bus or Zellerkreuz - Fischbach at around 6:00 a.m. (L114 Schanzsattelstraße)
- There is the possibility to use the shuttle bus from the Fischbach village square at 05:30 am - registration for the bus for a larger group (from 5 people) at +43 3170 211
- The sun rises along the carved face of the Teufelstein at around 07:30.
- Mountainbreakfast at the Teufelsteinhütte
- The innkeepers in Fischbach take care of a winter solstice breakfast.
- It is not necessary to register for the hike
Attention!
Parking at the Zellerkreuz is limited, so it is an advantage to take the shuttle bus from the village square in Fischbach at 05:30 so as not to miss the beautiful sunrise.
