Traditional, magical, and sensual – this is a fitting description of the Hartberg Christmas Magic.

When a multitude of lights illuminate sights, treetops, alleys, and façades, Hartberg – the city of the senses – once again invites you to experience the traditional Christmas magic in the historic old town.

From November 28 to December 23, 2025, the traditional Christkindlmarkt will take place in the old town of Hartberg at the main square, along with the arts and crafts/advent market at the museum.

Opening times for the Christkindlmarkt at the main square:
THU, FRI from 3 PM to 8 PM
SAT, SUN from 2 PM to 8 PM
Special opening days: MON 8.12., MON 22.12., and TUE 23.12. from 3 PM

Peace light handover on December 23 at 6:30 PM

Highlights:

Every day at 6 PM and 7:30 PM: Spectacular light and music show at the Christkindlmarkt

Light show as well as art and nativity exhibition in the FUZO

• X-Mas parties with DJ Andy D. on FRI 12.12. and FRI 19.12. from 6 PM at the main square 
• Free ice skating rink for children at the main square, free ice skate rental
• Autograph session with TSV Egger Glas Hartberg on THU 4.12. (around 5:30 PM - the exact time will be announced)
• Krampus fair by the Edelweißverein Hartberg on FRI 5.12. at 7 PM at the main square

  - On SAT 27.12. and SUN 28.12. from 4 PM with music and culinary specialties
  - On 30.12. from 4 PM Farmers' New Year's Eve with DJ Andy D. at the main square
  - On 31.12. from 3 PM Children's New Year's Eve party at the ice skating rink, fireworks at 6 PM and at 00:10 AM, from 6 PM New Year's Eve party with DJ Dieter Deutsch at the main square

 Shopping city Hartberg:
- Shop in Hartberg and win - In the Christmas lottery of the shopping city Hartberg, you can win prizes worth a total of 15,000 euros. 
- Through the online Advent calendar of the shopping city on their Instagram page, you can win great prizes daily from December 1 to 24.
