City-Country-Ball Weiz

The Weiz City-Country Ball connects the city and the region, folk music, waltzes, jazz, and Latin American music, and it unites all visitors with the goal of experiencing a fun, unique ball night and supporting young musical talents.
After an impressive joint opening by the ELIN City Band, the Friendship Band, and the Youth Wind Orchestra, the band "Rocket" invites everyone to dance on the main stage. In the foyer, there will be Styrian music with several groups, including the "Weizer Music Teachers," and in the gallery, music school ensembles will entertain with pop and jazz before midnight, followed by DJ Andy S. who will bring the best vibes with an 80s & 90s party.
The organizers – the municipality of Weiz, Rotary Club, music school, ELIN City Band, Friendship Band, World Shop, and Kunsthaus Weiz – again invite everyone to the Weizer Kunsthaus for plenty of entertainment, fun, and lots of music. The midnight quadrille by the Rath Dance School, a contest with great prizes, and the Fair-Trade Café with crepes, waffles, and cocktails are also waiting for the visitors.
The proceeds from the ball, as well as all donations and honorary entrance fees, will again benefit youth promotion in the music associations and the music school.
