Information
In winter, there is tons of fun to be had in the snow and on the cross-country ski run. Both families and other groups will feel totally at home at Gasthof Orthofer. Couples in particular - from young lovebirds to elderly couples - will have everything they need here at this traditional guest house and can spend their time off in style.
At 1,134m above sea-level, the ski-afficionados will find ideal conditions for a cross-country alpine getaway. You will find freshly traced ski runs (classic and skating) right on your doorstep every day and our snow machines will ensure safety on the slopes throughout the duration of the winter season. On weekday evenings the floodlight system means you can enjoy the slopes for even longer (until 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays). The Joglland ski run has been awarded the Styrian ski run seal of approval. Cross-country skiers will also find a biathlon track, a cross-country rental service and a cross-country ski school.
After a sporty stint on the slopes, we offer a range of pampering services at our wellness retreat, fitted with a relaxation room, infra-red cabin, sauna and steam room. We will also treat you to culinary highlights made using locally sourced and homemade products.

Margret Orthofer
Margret and Wolfgang Orthofer put their heart and soul into hosting visitors to their guest house. They do their utmost to ensure that guests feel happy and looked after in every way.
You will be treated to culinary delights from the region - from traditional roast pork cooked in a wood oven to Wiener schnitzel, not to mention the delicious desserts and cakes on offer. Most importantly, farmers and handlers from the region supply them with exquisite local produce which you will see on your menu. Let the Orthofer family take care of you.
