Every day competent hands bake fresh, fragrant bread at the RETTER BioGut. This is also where the harvested fruits get turned into fine distillates, jams and ice creams. The BioLaden is a representative delicatessen shop for Eastern Styria.

Arrival
Your room is at your disposal from 15:00 on arrival. Please inform us should you arrive later than 19:00.
We will be happy to pick you up free of charge from the Hartberg train or bus station for stays of two nights or more, we can also collect you from home on request. Please inform us five days before your planned arrival, so that we can make the necessary preparations.
You can reach us by telephone: +43 3335 2690, or email. We charge € 42,- per person for the return trip to the Hartberg train or bus station.
Departure
We kindly ask you to check out of the room by 10:00 on the day of departure.
Late Check out
If you would like to stay in your room a little longer (depending on availability), there is a surcharge of
€ 66,- per room. This surcharge only covers the cost of the room. Should you wish to have an afternoon snack with soup, salad, and desserts from our pastry girls, as well as enjoying our RETTER’s fruit juices, there is a minimal surcharge of € 15,- per person.

Welcome to the RETTER organic nature resort!
Ulli and Hermann Retter are enthusiastic hoteliers. The 4*Superior hotel in the Pöllauer Tal nature park in eastern Styria has been organically certified for many years and all guests spend the night climate-friendly. The orchards of the Retter family are located around the RETTER Bio-Nature-Resort. Quinces, stag pears, berries and apples from the Retter family's orchards, which have been organically certified for 30 years, are skilfully processed into juices, distillates, jams and ice cream in the adjacent Retter BioGut.
At the breakfast buffet, guests will find a good 30 varieties of organic bread and pastries fresh from the Retter bakery. Interested parties have the opportunity to discover their creative streak in bread-baking courses or zero-waste flower-laying courses, soap-making and fermentation. Out of conviction, only happy, organic, free-range animals from a radius of 25 km are processed into fine toque creations in the Retter kitchen, and that in its entirety.
All in all a round thing! The success proves Ulli and Hermann Retter right - the Retter Bio-Nature-Resort was once again voted Austria's best seminar hotel and was awarded the Green Globe, TRIGOS, Hermes business prize, environmental label and as a leading Austrian company.
