In the East of Styria - approximately 75 driving minutes from Vienna - is a small village, surrounded by a picturesque landscape named Mönichwald. Directly in the center is our traditional hotel. We want you, to make your holidays as cosy and enjoyable as possible, supporting from our powerful nature and austrian hospitality.
44 comfortable rooms and a detailed lovely wellness area with indoorpool expect you. We highly recommend to take our finnish sauna or herb-steam-bath after a long hiking distance. We have 3 a ski-cross areas in the nearest environment. One of them is the „Joglland-Loipe“ which adorns the title „Austrians- best cross-country skiing area“. As a result, you are able to enjoy a professional service and absolut perfect prepared trails.

Gerlinde Radits
The Mönichwalderhof has been family-owned since 1927 and is managed by us in the 4th generation. To date, the small inn has developed into a family-run 3-star hotel, which now presents itself as a place of well-being. Together with the senior partner Johanna and the Landhotel team, we, Gerlinde and Michael, ensure that you have an invigorating break. Daughter Hanna and son-in-law Bernd Konrath have been supporting us since 2019. Soon they will take over the hotel.
