The Stadthotel zur goldenen Krone, built in 1814 and reopened in 2014, lies in the heart of eastern Styria in the town centre of Weiz. It offers the ideal place for business travellers, art and culture enthusiasts or holidaymakers/ vacationers on a short break.
Due to the central location, all important sites are within walking distance for our guests. The old town around the Tabor, the Weizer Stadtmuseum or the Basilika am Weizberg invite you to embark on a historical walk.
The Stadthotel is an ideal starting point for attending the numerous events in the nearby Kunsthaus or the many festivals in and around Weiz. Both the beautiful regions of Eastern Styria and the provincial capital of Graz can be easily reached by bike, car or public transport due to the good connections.
All our rooms are equipped with a TV (international channels e.g. Italian or Indian), free wi-fi access, telephone, safe, air-conditioning, tea station writing desk, hairdryer in the bathrooms and large, comfortable beds. On request, all double rooms can be provided with twin beds.
