The nearly 200m² of the completely energy-independent (pellet heating, photovoltaic system) chalet offers space for 10 people and consists of a hall, a light-flooded alpine lounge, 4 double and 1 bunk bed rooms, a bathroom with a bathtub, a bathroom with a shower and flush toilet, an external flush toilet, a large kitchen equipped with an electric stove, dishwasher, and an old original wood stove, as well as a pantry. Furthermore, the house has a wood-heated hot pot and a wood-heated sauna right on the south-facing meadow in front of the house. The wonderful tranquility and the dreamlike location of the Hofalm make this place an unforgettable experience for families, friends, and couples.

Contact & Directions
On the day of arrival, the chalet is ready for occupancy from 3:00 PM
On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate the chalet
by no later than 11:00 AM
Arrival only by car:
S35 Brucker Expressway: Exit MIXNITZ
After both roundabouts, head towards: BREITENAU/ ST. JAKOB
Follow the road through the valley – after 6 kilometers, turn right at the large
property SCHAFFERWERKE (several yellow houses)
There, turn left over the railway into the FEISTERERGRABEN
(Follow the main road for 2.3 kilometers – at the fork (left yellow
house), continue right towards HOFALM/ BUCHER/ REITER (Now
a gravel road)
After the steep section (3.6 kilometers), continue straight ahead through the
gate (sign “Hofalm” to the right of the road) continue on the main road –
next left (kilometer 4.1) and staying on the main road until kilometer 5.4 – the
house is on the left below the road
Distances:
Exit Mixnitz – Junction Feisterergraben: 6 kilometers
Junction Feisterergraben – Hofalm: 5.4 kilometers
Exit Mixnitz – Hofalm: 11.4 kilometers
