Floating bridge over the Mur

On short hikes along the Mur or if you are cycling along the Mur cycle path, you can take a detour to the "Floating Mur Bridge" and make a short stop.

It feels like you are floating over the water when you cross this bridge or sit on the integrated benches. The two bridge girders have a support at the centre support in a zero position. When the water level rises, the centre support floats up along the centre support and lifts the bridge. Water ripples and upward movement are the result. Enjoy the sound of the water and the tranquillity on one of the bridge benches.

Included services

Due to storm damage on the side of the market town Kobenz, the floating bridge is closed until the completion of the processing work of the forest damage.
