An impressive MTB tour with stunning views in beautiful natural surroundings.
This route leads you from Altenmarkt up to Mooshöhe for a well-earned refreshment break, then along peaceful forest roads over the Hirschkogelsattel and down into the tranquil Brunnbach valley. You continue through small hamlets and quiet countryside to Reichraming, where you can hop on the train or follow the scenic Enns cycle path back to Altenmarkt. A tour full of nature, gentle adventure and real rural charm.

From Altenmakt on the main road to Unterlaussa. Right in the village, a side road leads steeply uphill to Mooshöhe (refreshments available at Radlerstüberl Fuxsjäger). Then take a forest road, first downhill, then turning right uphill towards Hirschkogelsattel. From Hirschkogelsattel, continue straight ahead downhill to Brunnbach. In Brunnbach, continue towards Brennhöhe, Anzenbach and Waldhäusl to the information hut.
Then continue via Dirnbach to Reichraming. From there, you can either take the train or follow the well-signposted Enns cycle path back to Altenmarkt.

Visit the attractions along the route. Camp in the national park at the Weißwasser bivouac site! If you have problems with your bike: E-Mobility Reichramming!
For the return journey to Altenmarkt, you can take the train from Reichraming station to Weißenbach an der Enns. From Weißenbach station, it is 2 km to Altenmarkt.
