Gracefully perched atop the Frauenberger Kulm near Ardning, the Baroque gem from 1683 offers a magnificent view of the Gesäuse mountain range.
A popular hiking destination is the Frauenberg pilgrimage church — a fascinating landmark and a unique vantage point. On particularly hot summer days, the Frauenberg natural outdoor pool beckons with its tranquil setting, clean water, and beautifully landscaped grounds.

More information
B 146 Gesäuse-Bundesstraße from direction Admont or Liezen to the entrance of Ardning
We start our tour opposite our parking lot and walk north according to the signs "Höhenweg Frauenberg" and "Rundweg Ardning".
At the end of the settlement we follow the signs of the fort road uphill and further through the forest.
Following the signs we cross the forest roads until we come back to the inhabited area and our first view of our destination.
The way back goes downhill, staying left until we reach the main road. We follow this road until we reach Ardning on the sidewalk.
Now we go back to the starting point and have a snack at the Dorfwirt!
After the round stop at the village innkeeper in Ardning (village centre)!
The moor round in Pürgaschachen Moor would be highly recommended!
