Information
Our family inn is located between the villages of Grossreifling and St. Gallen and is an ideal base for your active but relaxing vacation in the Gesaeuse National park. Our guest rooms are decorated in a traditional style but have been all been renovated in keeping the original flair of the house and its history. As a family we live and breath hospitality and our guests especially appreciate the regional cuisine where lots of local produce is used and therefore we offer a great half board package for all guests staying at the inn. Please let us know ahead of your arrival about any dietary requirements.
Since our inn is located in the Alps and surrounded by mountains, the mobile connection is not always great but this will of course even enhance your relaxation. Wi-Fi usage is free of charge for our guests.
Along the rivers Enns and Salza there is a big range of water sports that is being offered (kayaking, rafting, fishing, etc.). Additional the Nature and Geopark "Steirische Eisenwurzen" offers a lot of events and activities throughout the year.
We have a strong focus on sustainability and live in and with nature. The jams we offer for breakfast are almost all made from local produce by ourselves and in the kitchen we use regional produce wherever possible. The bed linen and towels are all washed in house.
With our strong focus on sustainability and in tune with nature we try to continuosly evolve: for example we are now able to offer cheaply to our guests (after pre-agreement) to reload your electric car. Also we have a wood chip heating an air-to-water heat pump and we use 100% green energy.
Our carbon footprint (8.35 kg per night) is one of the lowest in international tourism. We ar certified with the highest
climate efficiency class A.
