The organic children's farm of the Matlschweiger family in Lassing in Styria is more than cool: The kuh-le children's farm is ideally located in a quiet high valley between the Dachstein Tauern region and the Gesäuse National Park and is a perfect starting point for many adventures and experiences for the whole family.
On the farm there is a "mini flash course" for the kids to the farmer or farmer's wife which gives the children deep insights into an active organic farming with dairy and forestry and many animals.
In the barn, milking cows, driving cows, collecting chicken eggs (each room has its own chicken nest), baking bread, in the carpentry workshop, driving a tractor or making hay animals and much more - there is a daily KUH-le program that will inspire the children - at the end there is a medal with a diploma.
While the kids complete the various stations for the farm diploma, meet in the "Spielestadl" with indoor trampoline or in the 4 different children's playrooms with billiards, table tennis, Playstation 3D cinema, etc., the parents can devote themselves entirely to relaxing on the farm.
Our terraces with sunbeds and the many places to linger invite you to do so. But also the small but fine private wellness area for the family with Finnish sauna color and infrared, aroma steam shower with light effect and spray is available.

Welcome to the COOL Organic Farm
Our family-run farm with dairy cattle - first mentioned in documents in 1623 - with a lot of history - is centrally located to the 3 tourist regions Gesäuse - Pyhrn Priel and Dachstein Tauern.
All apartments and rooms come with a biological breakfast buffet and indulgent half-board served – of course, with many products from our own farm.
Every day from Monday to Sunday there are our children's programs, where the kids can truly "enjoy" life on a real farm.
While the children participate in the daily COOL programs, parents can relax in our recreation and relaxation areas – there are plenty of options – or even better: enjoy our little private wellness oasis all to themselves.
The entire farm is a children's paradise with many animals, go-karts, table soccer, table tennis, slides, trampolines, a sand area with a children's house, and each room/apartment has its own chicken nest.... etc.
In our 5 different indoor children's playrooms or in the play barn with hay jumping, indoor trampolines, and KUHdl – MUHdl stage, billiards, etc., you can really let loose – and even when the sun does not shine!!

Our small "private wellness oasis" for adults, can be used for a period of 3 to 4 hours Alone.
Finnish sauna with color and infrared as well as aroma steam bath with light and mist jets are available.
We use only pure essential oils.
Sauna towels are available from us.
Please note that a sauna visit must be pre-booked.
