Enjoy the "Inkwell," as the Altausseer See is affectionately called, on a traditional flatboat, taking you from one to the next of the excellent seven courses surrounded by local sounds.

Pastries, butter, jam, cold cuts & cheese from the region
freshly squeezed orange juice & tea, coffee or hot chocolate

“REFUGIUM Varieties”
Homemade sourdough bread & Grissini sticks – homemade hummus from Styrian chickpeas – nut butter – olives & olive oil – house sausage or salami – Styrian cheese cream soup 
served with a glass of alcohol-free REFUGIUM GIN TONIC

Cold-smoked trout
Vulcano prosciutto, Styrian salad
as well as a refreshing small beer “Schloss Eggenberg”

Hearty beef soup with Frittaten or spring vegetable soup
a glass of blended wine, the orchestra of flavors, warms the soul

Trout fillet
on wild garlic barley risotto with braised vegetables
a 1/16l mixed wine from the Weinbau Lang estate in Gobelsburg rounds off the main course

Kaiserschmarrn from the large pan
with plum compote
served with a glass of 10-year-old Tawny Port from Grahams

Local cheese trilogy
and to finish a 1/16l Styrian select

The culinary flatboat tour starts at 10:00 AM at the Seelounge Altaussee 712 (near the Madlmaier boat dock) and ends around 5:00 PM at Hotel Seevilla.

We recommend purchasing a day ticket at the Kurhaus (P1) or Seeklause (P3) parking lots. The Kurhaus parking lot is about an eight-minute walk from the start and end point.
