About us
Where the hearts of children and young people beat faster
Whether you are familiar with Graz or not, in the Graz Museum at the foot of the Graz Schlossberg [Castle Hill] you will discover the unexpected and gain new insights into the Styrian capital.
The historic museum of the city of Graz is located in the middle of the Baroque city palace Khuenburg, the birthplace of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Discover the history and development of the Graz Schlossberg in the exhibition "Schlossberg Utopias", which is free of charge.
The particularly detailed "large Schlossberg model" shows the condition of the mountain before the demolition of the fortress and before the park creation. The historical model is juxtaposed with utopian projects, such as those to build a festival hall or an underground car park on or in the city hill.
