Information
TIME OUT! Surrounded by forest and meadow, we guarantee complete peace and quiet, the most beautiful sunrise over the valley and a clear starry sky at night.
The house is in the open countryside, you will be the only guest, our own house is a few metres away.
You can reach the thermal baths Bad Blumau in 15 minutes with our mountain bikes or you can relax at the natural pool. Several golf courses are within a radius of 5 - 20 km.
We have renovated this old building with a lot of love and have attached great importance to using natural building materials. The pictures show exactly what you can expect.
A fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with a view of the countryside as well as a large dining table and a "peasant bedroom" with bathroom.
We will spoil you with an a la carte breakfast in the morning, a welcome drink at sunset gives us the opportunity to get to know you, if you wish.
The Riegersburg, an absolute highlight, and the Zotter chocolate factory are 23 km away, Graz can be reached in 40 minutes.
The probably oldest oak tree in Europe, a romantic place of power, is a 15-minute walk away.
In addition to the thermal spa Bad Blumau, which is 2.3 km away, you have the choice of visiting Bad Waltersdorf or Bad Loipersdorf in 10 or 15 minutes respectively. The small town of Fürstenfeld, with the largest outdoor swimming pool in Europe, can be reached in 10 minutes.
However, the most beautiful way for nature lovers to explore the area is by bike. On the way you will not only find cosy places but also farm shops, schnapps distilleries, the possibility of stopping off at Buschenschänken and much more..........

Take the South Motorway A2 at the Riegersdorf interchange onto the S7 towards Budapest and take the Fürstenfeld exit – at the roundabout, head towards Bad Blumau – at the end of the village of Bierbaum, turn left after about 200 m, then turn left again and follow the road to the Sunrise Retreat
From Vienna:
Take the South Motorway A2 exit Bad Waltersdorf – head towards Bad Waltersdorf – at the roundabout, head towards Bad Blumau/Fürstenfeld – through Leitersdorf – when you reach Bad Blumau, turn right immediately after the village sign – after about 200 m, turn left and follow the road to the Sunrise Retreat
