The history of the farm shop:

In 1994, my parents Kurt and Manuela Tscherner started our farm shop. Even back then, our farm shop offered free-range eggs, many homemade products, and handcrafted items. Times are constantly changing, and so has our farm shop.

Since May 2019, it has been a self-service store. Open daily - that is, on every egg-laying day. About my story: Before I completely dedicated myself to the farm in 2018, I worked as an industrial electrician and trained as an agricultural specialist and later as a master craftsman. As a child, I enjoyed being on the farm, in the fields, and with the animals. In 2015, I made the decision: I want to continue the farm. I am a young farmer with passion and conviction. Working in the fields and with the chickens gives me enormous joy. The appreciation and satisfaction of our customers is my motivation for the future.

About the products: In the self-service store, we offer our free-range eggs in all sizes, fresh daily. The feed for our chickens comes from our own cultivation and is ground and mixed directly on the farm. This allows us to optimally meet the needs of our chickens and ensure the best quality. Because happy chickens lay the best eggs. The pumpkin seeds for our pumpkin seed oil come 100% from our own cultivation with geographically protected origin (g.g.A.). Our hand-sorted snack seeds are also produced from this.

In addition to kidney beans, we also have seasonal asparagus and horseradish. These 3 products are produced by my wife Claudia Tscherner in Halbenrain/Dietzen. Together, we are always working on new ideas and products that we can offer. Furthermore, we have honey, wine, and various delicacies from "the young wild vegetable farmers," including vinegar, ketchup, and tomato juice. Our self-service store at the farm is open for you every egg-laying day from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM. For larger quantities, pre-orders can also be made via SMS/call.
