Unique in Styria, you will find a magnificent replica of the Marian Grotto of Lourdes in Unterlamm.

In 2006, a Lourdes Marian Grotto was built on a slope behind the church of Unterlamm (near Bad Loipersdorf), which now attracts thousands of visitors. It is modeled on the apparition of Mary in the French pilgrimage town of Lourdes in 1858. The grotto in Unterlamm, which is made of many stones weighing several tons, contains a particularly valuable relic. It comes from the bones of St. Bernadette and is accessible to everyone.

Experience the special atmosphere of this place of prayer every 11th of the month at 7:00 p.m. in a holy mass at the Lourdes Marian Grotto with a procession of lights and especially beautiful musical accompaniment.
