Frutten-Gießelsdorf observation tower

St. Anna/Aigen

The 40 meter high red tower is located at 479 meters above sea level and rewards after climbing 180 steps with a magnificent view. Tip: Take binoculars with you!

Eiffel Tower of Styria

On the "Wine Trail of the Senses" in Frutten-Gießelsdorf is the lookout station. Especially in summer and autumn, this is a magnet for visitors. On the one hand, this is probably due to the magnificent view, on the other hand, the place is a hub of many hiking trails. Once you have climbed the 180 steps to the plateau at a height of 36 meters, you are rewarded with a magnificent view.

Rest stop right next to the lookout post

Next to the lookout station Renate Pranger runs a catering business with snacks, hot meals and delicious homemade pastries. Next door is a natural bowling alley.
