We are schmorrn. - a band from Graz consisting of the 3 singers Alissa Totz, Barbara Gieferl, and Magdalena Zink.
We reinterpret well-known soul and pop songs by translating the original lyrics into Styrian dialect and developing our own vocal arrangements. In doing so, we strive to maintain the original emotion and energy of the songs while enriching them with a humorous touch. Hits like “Cry me a river” by Justin Timberlake or “Come on over” by Christina Aguilera sound both familiar and refreshingly different. Accompanied by a three-member band or minimally with acoustic guitar, the focus is entirely on the three-part vocals, ranging from delicate harmonies to powerful, soulful sensations. Their lyrics tell everyday stories about love and life and sometimes touch on feminist themes. With the unique blend of international hits and regional charm, we aim to excite our audience.
