New Year's Eve run in Bad Waltersdorf

Together sporty into the new year

On December 31, 2025, a special running event will take place in Bad Waltersdorf: the New Year's run for everyone who wants to actively and jointly end the year. Whether you are a beginner, a casual runner, or a marathon veteran – everyone is welcome.

The run will take place on a circuit of about 2 kilometers, starting and finishing at the Bad Waltersdorf train station. Everyone can complete as many laps as they want. There will be no timing and no performance pressure – the focus is on the joy of movement and the sense of community.

The starting gun will be fired at 10:00 AM, and participation is possible throughout the day. The participation is free of charge. Those who wish can make a voluntary donation. The total donations will benefit the Red Cross Styria, particularly the local branch in Bad Waltersdorf. This will help fund new equipment and supplies that are urgently needed in the field.

The run is organized by Michael Peindl in cooperation with the Red Cross Styria and Generation Fit.
