A poetry slam is a modern poetry competition for the favor of the audience.

The goal is to inspire the audience with the presentation of an original text. There are no restrictions regarding the type of text - prose, poetry, SMS, language experiments, rap, diary entries, dialect poems, or something entirely new – everything is allowed and welcomed. The only thing that is not permitted is to sing continuously. Under the premise of "respect the Poet," every performer is given the utmost respect for their presentation.

As always, big names from the national and this time German slam scene will battle it out in Zehnerhaus, and hopefully, you will too!

The evening will be hosted by the two-time Austrian Poetry Slam Champion Klaus Lederwasch.
There are 3 open spots available through the open list. So if you want to participate, just let the moderator know at least 30 minutes before the event starts, or sign up now at lederwasch@gmx.net ! All you need are 2 self-written texts (no longer than 6 minutes), a bit of courage, and a little luck. If your name is drawn, you’re in and can wow the audience with your texts.
