Culinary delights along the southern Styrian wine Trail

    From Buschenschänken to Gourmet Restaurants

Along the South Styrian Wine Trail, an excellent and varied culinary picture has developed around wine that leaves nothing to be desired. There is a density and variety of Buschenschänke (wine taverns), restaurants and gourmet restaurants that can rarely be found anywhere else.

More than 100 Buschenschänke, more than a dozen gourmet restaurants and a number of traditional and modern restaurants provide culinary delights. Particular emphasis is placed on regionality, quality and variety.

Thus, in addition to the traditional and well-known Brettljause (cold snack of meats and cheese), the menu at a Buschenschank also includes evermore creative creations as well as vegetarian and vegan snacks. The focus on regionality and seasonality is particularly noticeable in the restaurants, so you can always look forward to the wild garlic, asparagus, chanterelle or game weeks.

So there's something for everyone, now you're just spoilt for choice!
