Beautiful circular hiking trail with many vantage points in the South Styrian wine country.
The topography of the municipality of St. Johann im Saggautal is the ideal example for the entire South Styrian hill country. The municipality lies in the middle of the beautiful Saggau Valley. The main village lies at 316 m above sea level, the highest points reach up to 589 m above sea level. St. Johann im Saggautal is characterised by a diverse landscape: Fertile fields in the valley, lush meadows and orchards on the gentle to very steep hills with charming vineyards and vineyard slopes. A colourful forest area stretches in between.

Coming from the south, north, east and west on the A9 Phyrnautobahn - exit Leibnitz - continue towards Kaindorf/S. - Heimschuh - Großklein - St. Johann i. S.
Variant 17a: The Untergreithweg has its starting point at the car park next to the Jauk car dealership in St. Johann im Saggautalweg, past the Jauk Hartner inn, past the St. Johann im Saggautal municipal office and then left in the direction of Buschenschank Wildpacher- towards Radigaberg then left in the direction of Schlammegg and via Schimpeleck, Habitschegg and Saggau back to the starting point.
Visit the Stelzl distillery in the village centre.
