A stage character who takes her cancer as an opportunity to make an evening about Hildegard Knef, whom she adores. A ruthless evening, just the way she likes it.
People react very differently when they learn that they are seriously ill. Some continue to live as before, some go on trips, some become religious. And some fulfill a long-held wish.
Our protagonist will not attempt to tell Knef's story, but will borrow a few of her songs. She will draw strength from them and may be able to answer some open questions.
