Two exceptional musicians, one common denominator: the blues – authentic, profound, and full of soul. “Sir” Oliver Mally, an award-winning singer-songwriter and one of the most influential figures in the Central European blues scene, meets Munich guitarist Peter Schneider, whose virtuosic playing has shaped international stages.

Together, they perform as Spacebrothers and effortlessly transcend genre boundaries: blues remains the foundation but is enriched with influences from Latin, jazz, and rock. Mally’s smoky voice and storytelling talent perfectly complement Schneider’s delicate, intuitive guitar playing – a musical chemistry that becomes palpable on stage.

With their acclaimed album “Almost There” – chosen by Ö1 as one of the best albums of 2024 in the category “Blues, Country & Rock’n’Roll international” – the two demonstrate that the blues is alive and constantly reinventing itself.
