SOCIAL DEBATE is based on extensive research and interviews about life as a maid in the past and the working conditions of 24-hour caregivers, sham self-employed workers, and seasonal workers today. The job interview of the fictional Eastern European worker turns into
a long monologue by the woman, who doesn't let her counterpart speak, and touches on other topics that have moved and continue to move society as a whole.
The audience is taken on a journey through the social and socio-political developments in Austria since the interwar period, invited to compare their own memories and reflect on the price of our prosperity - all while laughing heartily.
