With this reading, Erika Pluhar selects from the wealth of her books, reads poetry, occasionally sings her lyrics a cappella – and always strives to break the often tedious solemnity of author readings with a culinary-theatrical approach, remaining entertaining in the best sense.
She was recognized and known as an actress for decades. She achieved what few succeed in the cultural landscape: finding recognition as a writer as well. In 2009, she received the honorary award from the Austrian book trade.
A reflective afternoon to escape the hustle and bustle of the pre-Christmas season – and at the same time the atmospheric conclusion of this year's Stieglerhaus program.
