Woher der Wind weht | Od koga piha veter

Operating at the interfaces between visual art, sculpture, architecture, and design, Tobias Rehberger – who is considered one of the most significant and well-known conceptual artists of his generation worldwide – creates not only expansive installations. It is also important to him to always integrate the conceptual and real environment of his works. Specifically for a selected border location between Austria and Slovenia, he has developed a unique sculpture that does not seek to be admired as an artwork but instead triggers irritations and possibilities in the perception of passersby. Connecting people across cultures and in mutual respect, "Woher der Wind weht" playfully yet memorably refers to the changing relationships, meanings, conditions, and shifts in direction in the mind.
