Kitzeck im Sausal
The steep slope of our vineyards means a special sun exposure and a relatively high sugar content in the grapes. We work with the utmost care and caution on our cultivated land. Carefully with our hands to get the best out of each grape. And carefully with a tractor secured to a rope between the vines, because the slope, steeper than the mousetrap in Kitzbühel, requires the utmost concentration.
We are a family business, which was taken over by Bernhard Malli in the second generation. Father and founder Anton and mother Johanna work just as energetically as Bernhard's sister Viktoria.
On the one hand, with the "Steile Leit'n" wines we have strong Styrians in our range, which with their DAC- Südsteiermark affiliation draw particular attention to their origin and the quality of their creation. Our 49° line describes local wines that are stored for 12 months on the fine lees and can be drunk and enjoyed for years. With our Gamsbock Cuvée you taste the whole breadth of Southern Styria. In any case, enjoy the steep, sunny location in the glass!
