Kitzeck im Sausal

Our winery is located on the outskirts of sunny Kitzeck just off the Sausal Wine Road, at the foot of the Demmerkogel, and at the same time offers a magnificent distant view over the rolling expanses of this unique landscape.

The main vineyard of our vineyard consists of a southwestern exposure with very fertile soils. Especially the area Sausal with its slate rock soils produces unique wines. On it ripen the varieties Welschriesling, Müller Thurgau, Sämling 88, Traminer, Muscaris, Morillon, Pinot Blanc, Klevner, Sauvignon-blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Schilcher, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent.

A favorable climate and the steep slopes allow our grapes to ripen to a special quality. In addition, we pay attention to a single-variety harvest and a late harvest time. With a gentle grape processing and a professionally oriented cellar technique, the development of wines with a high quality level takes place.
